A few minutes now. Automatic after that.
- Connect Edge first. Download the extension below, unzip it, open
edge://extensions, enable Developer mode, select “Load unpacked,” and choose the unzipped folder containingmanifest.json. - Pair it. In Browsers, choose Connect browser → Microsoft Edge. Copy the code into the extension’s settings. Your current Edge favorites become the initial collection.
- Connect Brave. Load the same extension at
brave://extensions. Create a Receiving browser pairing code. Confirm replacement in its settings. Existing Brave bookmarks are backed up locally before replacement. - Add more computers. Repeat the installation and pairing on each Windows PC or Mac. Use the Edge role only in Edge. Keep your existing Microsoft favorites sync on. Brave Sync is unnecessary; leave native bookmark sync off in receiving browsers to avoid competing writers.
- On iPhone or iPad. Open this page, sign in, then use Safari’s Share → Add to Home Screen. This page is your mobile bookmark collection.
What syncs?
Edge changes publish automatically. Receiving browsers catch up when running. Additions from any connected browser or this page enter the shared collection and reach Edge when it next runs. Edits, moves, and deletions outside Edge require review.
Browsers poll every two minutes, react to bookmark changes, and catch up on startup. A bookmark created in Edge on a phone reaches this app after an installed desktop Edge receives it through Microsoft sync and runs our extension.
Recovery and privacy
The last 30 cloud revisions are backed up automatically. Each browser keeps its original pre-sync collection in extension storage until disconnected or uninstalled; download it before uninstalling. Browser tokens can be revoked in Browsers. Passwords are salted and hashed. Your bookmark data stays in your Cloudflare database.
First release
Edge and Brave desktop are the supported starting point. The Chromium package is structured for Chrome, Opera, Vivaldi, and Helium; these require separate compatibility checks. Firefox will need its own package. Native iOS bookmark menus are not modified.
Version 0.1.0 · Maximum 12,000 nodes, subject to the collection’s 1.5 MB storage cap. Large or complex collections need testing before rollout.
